  • 4. What sort of equipment do you use?
Our cameras are the Canon XH-A1 and Sony HVR-V1E. These are professional high-definition camcorders. We also have a Canon XM2, which we setup and leave unmanned. For sound we have a wireless lapel mike and gun mikes. The lapel mike will be worn by the groom and will pick up his voice, the brides voice and the person conducting the service. For the speeches we have a hand held microphone. We also have powerful lighting if needed but we try to use available light as much as possible to minimise our presence and we certainly won’t be shining lights in people’s faces.

  • 5. Do you have public liability insurance and copyright clearance?
Yes, we have both. We have £1Million public liability insurance and we buy the Mechanical-Copyright Protection Society (MCPS) and Phonographic Performance Ltd (PPL) licenses for every wedding video which contains music.
